Salvia miahuatliensis

Salvia miahuatliensis: is a tall perennial 3-4mH on long stems with cordate leaves and long sprays of vermillion flowers in winter. As this Salvia  comes from the forest floor, it makes it’s way up to the sun. Plant either next to a tree, shrub or a  conical structure so the long stem can grow or be be trained, through and around.  Although it grows towards the sun, it is best grown in a semi shaded or dappled sunny position , away from strong winds and frost. A beautiful plant when in flower.
