Salvia quitensis: is a tall upright shrub 2-4mH with cordate leaves and sprays of small cerise flowers under the leaves. Grow in a sunny sheltered position from strong winds and frost. Best placed at the rear of the bed or in among other shrubs. Very attractive to birds and insects as it produces a quantity of seed, which is unusual for a tall Salvia.
