Salvia mexicana ‘Minor’

Salvia mexicana ‘Minor’: is a slender open shrub 1.5- 2.5mH with mexicana type cordate leaves and flower heads of whorls  of small purple flowers and mottled calyces. The whole plant is smaller than many other varieties, but very attractive to birds and insects.

Plant at the rear of a small bed or in the middle of a larger bed under a deciduous tree or in sunny sheltered position. Protect from strong winds and frost.
