Salvia madrensis: A tall yellow winter flowering Salvia 3-4mH with very large leaves, a square stem and spires of lemon yellow flowers in autumn till mid winter. This tall clumping Salvia is best planted at the rear of the bed or in the middle of a large bed. Plant in a sunny sheltered position away from strong winds and frost. It makes a spectacular pop of yellow among other large shrubs.
