Salvia farinacea is an annual, with many long spikes of beautiful blue flowers that remain flowering for most of the year. This is the parent to many hybrids, most of which are annuals in the southern states, but may prove to be more perennial in Queensland. This is also one of the parents of ‘Indigo Spires’ and ‘Mystic Spires’
